Job summary

The Iowa Primary Care Association is seeking a General Dentist to provide care at a Fort Dodge, IA community health center (FQHC). The role involves comprehensive dentistry within an integrated care team and a patient-responsive schedule.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Ability to perform routine dental procedures and basic treatments.
• Experience with common restorative and surgical procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited dental procedures as needed.
• Provide treatments including extractions and root canals.
• Fabricate and fit dentures for diverse patient populations.

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a General Dentist to provide care at a vibrant community health centre's (FQHC) in Fort Dodge, IA!

What is a community health center (FQHC)?

The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations.

With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.

New grads are encouraged to apply!

• Clinic Hours: Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm (open to flexibility); no evenings, weekends, call
• Sees on average 14 patients per day + hygiene checks
• Provider team includes: 1 dentist, 1 dental hygienist, and 2 dental assistants.

• Student Loan Repayment Programs: Eligible for $50,000 in student loan repayment in exchange for 2 years of service through state & federal programs
• Competitive Salary: $190,000 - $230,000/year based on experience.
