Kids Dental Place & Orthodontics in Glendale, CA is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to children. The role involves radiographs, charting, and patient education in a kid-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise patient records.
• Obtain dental radiographs as requested by the dentist.
• Write accurate, consistent notes matching services performed.
• Educate patients and parents on good oral health.
• Sterilize instruments and clean workstations per OSHA standards.
• Keep the practice clean and presentable, including restrooms and lobby.

Kids Dental Place & Orthodontics in Glendale, CA is currently seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients. Pay range: $17.87-$26/hr (we offer benefits)

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records
• Obtain quality dental radiographs (periapicals, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentist
• Write accurate and consistent notes, ensuring chart notes match services completed
• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral health
• Organize and sterilizing dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Job Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
• Current BLS CPR certification
