Kids Dental Place & Orthodontics in East Los Angeles, CA is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant for Saturdays only. The role supports the dentist and hygienist in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients.

The position requires radiology training, BLS CPR certification, and strong patient communication skills. Prior dental office experience is preferred, with opportunities for career growth within the practice and region.

Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus.
• Previous experience in a dental office preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document patient records clearly and concisely.
• Obtain dental radiographs as requested by the dentist.
• Write accurate notes to match services performed.
• Educate patients and parents on oral health.
• Sterilize instruments and manage workstations per OSHA.
• Keep the practice clean and presentable for patients.
• Support mission of providing high-quality dental services to underserved children.

Kids Dental Place & Orthodontics in East Los Angeles, CA,is currently seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients.

Pay range: $17.87-$26/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records
• Obtain quality dental radiographs (periapicals, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentist
• Write accurate and consistent notes, ensuring chart notes match services completed
• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral health
• Organize and sterilizing dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Job Qualifications
