Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is seeking Dental Assistants (DA) and Registered Dental Assistants (RDA) to join our health centers. Experienced DAs or new DA graduates are welcomed; higher pay for RDAs.

Our DAs provide a positive patient experience, work with dentists and supervisors to ensure calm patients, prepare tools, and assist during treatment. Comprehensive benefits are offered; hourly wage starts at $22 with pay dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Completed accredited dental assisting program.
• X-ray certificate required.
• Coronal Polish certificate required.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt dental support and maintain a smooth patient flow.
• Record data accurately and manage back-office supplies.
• Communicate clearly with patients, staff and supervisors.
• Work flexible or extended hours as needed.
• Participate in staff trainings and meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality.
