Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is hiring Dental Assistants and Registered Dental Assistants to join our health centers. Experienced DAs or new grads are welcome, with higher pay for RDAs.

Responsibilities include assisting dentists, preparing tools, charting findings, and maintaining a smooth patient flow in a supportive team environment. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow with the clinic network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Formal dental assisting program completed at an accredited college.
• X-ray certification is required.
• Coronal Polish certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt dental support and promote smooth patient flow.
• Assist dentists and maintain back-office organization, supplies and equipment.
• Document findings accurately and ensure data is recorded clearly.
• Communicate openly with supervisor and staff; maintain confidentiality.
• Work flexible or extended hours as needed.
• Participate in in-services and team meetings; respect others’ ideas.
