Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley seeks Dental Assistants (DA) and Registered Dental Assistants (RDA) to join our health centers. Experienced DAs or new graduates are welcome; higher pay for RDAs is offered.

You will support dentists and staff, prepare instruments, maintain back-office organization, and ensure smooth patient flow while upholding confidentiality and safety standards across our clinics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Completed training program in Dental Assisting from an accredited college is required.
• X-Ray certificate is required.
• Coronal Polish certificate is required.
• CPR certificate is required.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt dental support and maintains back-office order.
• Promotes smooth patient flow and accurate data recording.
• Communicates clearly with staff and patients; supports extended hours as needed.
• Participates in center in-services and respects confidentiality rules.
