Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is hiring Dental Assistants (DA) and Registered Dental Assistants (RDA) in Selma, CA. Experienced DAs and new graduates are welcome; higher pay for RDAs.

You will support dentists, prepare tools, maintain a calm patient environment, and ensure clear communication with the team. Responsibilities include data recording, back-office organization, and flexibility to work extended hours.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Completed training in Dental Assisting from an Accredited College is required.
• X-Ray certificate is required.
• Coronal Polish certificate is required.
• CPR Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt dental support and promote smooth patient flow.
• Record data accurately and maintain back office order.
• Communicate clearly with staff and patients; support extended hours when needed.
• Assist during treatments and prepare necessary tools and instruments.
• Abide by confidentiality and safety guidelines.
