Dignity Dental Services is hiring a part‑time Dental Assistant to deliver mobile, facility‑based dental care across PACE facility sites in Des Moines and Waterloo, IA. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on candidate background.

Prerequisite Requirements and Responsibilities

Applicants must possess at least 5 years of clinical dental assisting experience along with required Iowa state credentials. Key responsibilities include chairside support during restorative, surgical, and prosthodontic care, operatory setup, EHR documentation, and patient care for older adults and individuals with complex needs. Previous surgical or prosthodontic experience is preferred.

Schedule Structure and Work Environment

This position features a part‑time 1–2 days per week commitment (Mondays clinical with one remote flex day). Our practice provides full equipment setup, scheduling assistance, computer/EHR access, and a mission‑driven team structure.

Pay

• $18 - $25 per hour

Position offers $18.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience.

Requirements

• License & Certification: Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
• Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 5+ years of practice
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical dental assisting experience.
• Credentials: Must hold state dental assisting credentials as required by the state of Iowa.
• Qualities: Strong organizational skills and comfortable providing care to geriatric and special care patient populations.

Preferences

Clinical Focus: Experience assisting with surgical or prosthodontic procedures is preferred.
