Job summary

Celebrate Dental and Braces - Highway 550 – Bernalillo in Bernalillo, NM is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join a family-oriented practice providing general, pediatric, and orthodontic care. You will assist dentists, prepare treatment rooms, take and process dental X-rays, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure infection control throughout the day.

Open Dental and digital radiography are used daily.

Qualifications

• Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
• Licensed Registered Dental Assistant or Certified Dental Assistant.
• X-ray/Radiography certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before patient appointments.
• Take and process dental X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support a positive patient experience in a fast-paced clinic.

Pay

• $16 - $50 per hour

Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift
• To be discussed during the interview.
• Holiday Shifts: Occasional holiday shifts, compensated at double time.

Requirements

• License & Certification: Basic life support
