Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers in the United States invites a Prosthodontist Dental Assistant to join our clinical team, supporting advanced dental implant procedures and delivering world-class patient care.

You will work directly with the prosthodontist, prepare instruments, maintain sterile fields, take radiographs, educate patients, and assist across lab coordination and inventory, all within a supportive, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dental assisting experience
• Valid certifications meeting state requirements
• Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is desirable
• Strong manual dexterity for handling instruments
• Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Familiarity with radiographic imaging and digital dental tech

Responsibilities

• Assist in advanced dental procedures, especially implants
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintain infection control
• Provide chair-side assistance and anticipate dentist needs
• Explain procedures to patients and make them comfortable
• Take radiographs and process radiographic images
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
• Support inventory management and lab coordination
• Handle scheduling, reception, and recordkeeping
• Collaborate with clinical team to ensure patient care quality
• Assist across oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics

What You’ll Do:

• Work directly with the Prosthodontist to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards
• Provide chair-side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized
• Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
• Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
• Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene
• Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping
• Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with other clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants to ensure exceptional care
• Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:

• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
• 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role
• Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology
