Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers in Westlake, OH is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our clinical team supporting life-changing dental implant procedures. You’ll prepare and sterilize instruments, assist the prosthodontist and oral surgeons, take radiographs, and help educate patients throughout their visit.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend shifts, a competitive hourly rate of $24–$28, a $1500 sign-on bonus, comprehensive healthcare benefits, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Certifications per state requirements.
• Strong manual dexterity with dental instruments.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Prosthodontist and Oral Surgeons in implant procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments; enforce infection control.
• Provide chair-side assistance and anticipate dentist needs.
• Take and process dental radiographs.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene.
• Support inventory, lab coordination, and recordkeeping.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with the Prosthodontist and Oral Surgeons to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards
• Provide chair-side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized
• Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
• Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
• Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene
• Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping
• Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with other clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants to ensure exceptional care
• Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics

Skills And Experience We’re Looking For

• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
• 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role
• Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology
