Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers in Las Vegas seeks a Prosthodontist Dental Assistant to support life-changing dental implant procedures and provide patients with world-class care. You will join a clinical team delivering exceptional treatment and educational experiences.

You’ll work directly with the Prosthodontist, preparing instruments, sterilizing equipment, taking radiographs, and assisting during procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout visits.

Qualifications

• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
• 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role.
• Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Prosthodontist in advanced dental procedures, especially implants.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment per infection control standards.
• Provide chair-side assistance during procedures and maintain organized treatment areas.
• Make patients comfortable and informed throughout visits.
• Take dental X-rays and assist with radiographic imaging.
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene.
• Support prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping.
• Handle scheduling, patient reception, records maintenance, and supplier orders.
• Collaborate with oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants for high-quality care.
• Assist in areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics.

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with the Prosthodontist to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards
• Provide chair-side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized
• Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
• Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
• Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene
• Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping
• Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with other clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants to ensure exceptional care
• Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics

Skills And Experience We’re Looking For

• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
• 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role
• Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology
