Meadows Dental Care in Palatine, IL is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team and support clinicians during procedures. You will help with chairside assistance, infection control, and accurate patient recordkeeping under HIPAA guidelines.

Experience with Dentrix or similar software and strong communication with patients and team members are essential. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive, collaborative work environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Chairside Assistance: Provide expert support during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort.
• Infection Control: Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Polishing Assistance: Support the dentist during the polishing process to enhance patient comfort and safety.
• Patient Communication: Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns effectively.
• Treatment Environment: Ensure a clean and organized treatment area, restocking supplies and equipment as needed.

Job Qualifications:

• Working Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in dental assisting preferred.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software systems is advantageous.
• Effective Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships.

• Monday 06:45 am - 03:00 pm.
• Tuesday 08:45 am - 06:00 pm.
• Wednesday 07:45 am. - 05:00 pm.

• Friday 07:45 am. - 1:0 pm.
