Job summary

Aahealth in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Dental Assistant to support licensed dentists and hygienists in delivering primary dental care to residents. The role requires maintaining infection control, preparing rooms, and assisting in procedures at multiple sites.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of dental assisting experience, a Maryland Dental Radiation Technologist License with CPR, and a valid Maryland driver’s license. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years assisting a dentist in patient care.
• Maryland Dental Radiation Technologist License and CPR required.
• Valid Maryland driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and dental hygienists in direct patient care.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain hygiene/sterilization protocols.
• Take x‑rays, impressions, and vital signs; assist during procedures.
• Input patient data in the Patterson Eaglesoft Dental Program; confirm Medicaid coverage.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage supplies.
