Job summary

Gentle Dental Albany is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Dental Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced specialty setting. You will assist during treatments, prepare rooms, take records, and help maintain clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting Program.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS Certification.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist during patient treatment and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and materials are ready for patient care.
• Take diagnostic records, including impressions, photographs, and radiographs as permitted by state regulations.
• Provide exceptional patient care and education throughout treatment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.

Schedule: Part-Time

Pay Range: $23.00-$26.00 per hour/DOE

What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification
