Qualifications

• 6+ months of practical experience as a pediatric dental assistant
• CPR or BCLS certification
• CODA-accredited dental assisting program preferred
• Quick learner with problem-solving skills

• Technical/troubleshooting skills for software used in charting, patient records, and scheduling

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile
• Inform and reassure patients and families before, during, and after appointments
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos
• Prepare and sterilize treatment room and equipment
• Provide chair-side assistance to providers during procedures
• Document dental care services by charting in patients' records
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile
• Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable - before, during, and after their appointment - about their treatment and oral health

Clinical Support

• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos
• Prepare and sterilize treatment room and equipment

Requirements

• 6+ months of practical experience as a pediatric dental assistant - will train the right candidate!
