Zakiortho in Chesapeake, VA seeks a dedicated dental assistant to support patients and the dental team. You will greet patients, process radiographs and impressions, and help prepare the treatment space to ensure smooth visits.

As a critical link in patient care, you will document procedures, maintain sterile environments, and use dental software for records and scheduling while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state.
• 6+ months of experience as a dental assistant.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Completion of a CODA accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
• Quick learner with strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Comfortable with software used for charting, records, and scheduling.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
