Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is hiring Dental Assistants (DA) and Registered Dental Assistants (RDA) to join our health centers. Experienced DAs or new graduates are welcome; higher pay for RDAs is available.

You will work with dentists and supervisors to ensure calm patients, prepared dentists, and clear communication during procedures. The role involves preparing tools, assisting during treatment, charting data, sterilization, and ensuring efficient back-office operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completed Dental Assisting program from an accredited college.
• X-Ray and Coronal Polish certificates required; CPR certification preferred.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt dental support and maintain smooth patient flow.
• Assist dentists and supervise the clinic in coordination with the RDA Supervisor.
• Communicate clearly with staff and patients; participate in trainings and meetings.
• Assist with treatment preparation and instrument sterilization; maintain back-office organization.
• Adhere to confidentiality and safety policies; flexible hours as needed.
