Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley in Fresno, CA is recruiting Dental Assistants (DA) and Registered Dental Assistants (RDA). We welcome experienced DAs or new graduates, with higher pay for RDAs. You will assist dentists, prepare instruments, and support a smooth patient flow in our clinics.

You will help with chairside duties, chart findings, maintain back-office operations, and ensure safety and confidentiality. A valid driver’s license and required certifications are needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completed training program in Dental Assisting from Accredited College is required.
• X-Ray certificate is required.
• Coronal Polish certificate is required.
• CPR Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt dental support; promotes a smooth patient flow; collects and records data accurately; maintains order of the back office, equipment and supplies.
• Helps ensure patients and families get the care they need when they need it.
• Communicates with supervisor and staff.
• Works flexible or extended hours when necessary.
• Participates in in-services and meetings; listens and respects others’ ideas.
• Adheres to confidentiality rules.
