Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is seeking Dental Assistants and Registered Dental Assistants to join our clinics in California. We welcome experienced DAs and new graduates, with higher pay for RDAs.

You will work with dentists and supervisors to ensure calm patients, prepared dentists, and clear communication while assisting during procedures. Responsibilities include supporting the back office, collecting data, maintaining equipment, and promoting efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completed training program in Dental Assisting from Accredited College is required.
• X-ray certificate is required.
• Coronal Polish certificate is required.
• CPR Card is required.
• Possess a valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt dental support; promote smooth patient flow and accurate data collection.
• Maintain order of back office, equipment and supplies.
• Communicate with supervisor and staff.
• Work flexible or extended hours when necessary.
• Participate in center in-services and meetings; respect others’ ideas.
• Adhere to confidentiality rules.
