Quail Run Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. The role supports dentists with chairside assistance, x-ray processing, and patient education to ensure high-quality care. Flexible schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, with a focus on patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Dentrix or similar dental software experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and provide education during treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (e.g., iTero 3D scanner).
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures following the state dental practice act.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms adhering to OSHA & CDC safety protocols.
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and improve office workflow.
