Job summary

North American Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant for our Michigan practice in Warren. You will provide essential chair-side clinical support, prep patients for treatment, assist the dentist in restorative procedures, and maintain high standards of care and efficiency.

The role emphasizes patient education, accurate documentation, sterilization, radiography, and adherence to safety standards in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
• 1–5 years of experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting and patient education.
• Record and review patient health histories and complete documentation under the dentist's direction.
• Set up trays and instruments according to the daily schedule and procedures.
• Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis per OSHA standards.
• Assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing diagnostic radiographs.
