Job summary

North American Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant for a full-time on-site role at Convenient Family Dentistry in Burton, MI. You will provide chair-side clinical support, assist the dentist with restorative procedures, and ensure a high standard of care and efficiency.

The role requires Dental Assisting Certification or equivalent on-the-job training, state-specific radiography certification, and current CPR.

Qualifications

• Certification in dental assisting is required or on-the-job training may be accepted.
• Radiography/X-ray certification is required (state-specific).
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists; charting and patient education.
• Record and review patient health histories; document under dentist's direction.
• Set up trays and instruments per daily schedule and procedure requirements.
• Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, maintain asepsis per OSHA standards.
• Assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing radiographs.
• Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, CPR and safety certifications are maintained.
