Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to work closely with our dentist. You will prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, take and develop X-rays, and assist during procedures to ensure patient comfort.

This role includes maintaining patient records, ordering supplies, and supporting front office tasks as needed. Monday through Friday schedule with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2 years of general practice dental assisting experience.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• X-ray license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed.
