Job summary

PDS Health in Waxahachie, TX is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support the dentist with patient care, imaging, and chair-side assistance. You will help prepare treatment rooms, take x-rays and intra-oral photos, and educate patients on oral health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and state-mmandated certifications/licensure

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency
• Participate in delivering the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns
• Maintain a clean, sterile and cheerful environment and prepare patients for treatment
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.)

Education
