Job summary

Smile Brands is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and specialists in delivering high-quality care. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist during procedures, and educate patients on oral hygiene while upholding infection control and safety standards.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, teamwork, and ongoing skill development within a supportive clinical environment. Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Meet state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
• Assist dentists and specialists during examinations and dental procedures.
• Take and prepare dental X-rays and other records when permitted by state regulations.
• Provide patients with clear, compassionate guidance on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies.
• Support an efficient, organized clinical environment.
• Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient.
• Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to deliver exceptional care.
