Job summary

ProSmile is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the clinical needs of patients in our Illinois practice. You will work under the supervision of dentists and collaborate with dental hygienists in chairside care, recordkeeping, and scheduling.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, DRT license or willingness to pursue licensure, and 1+ year of dental assisting experience. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Applicable licensing required for the state (DRT) or willingness to pursue licensure immediately.
• Radiation Health and Safety certificate.
• Certified Dental Assistant certificate preferred.
• 1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist dental dentists chairside and maintain knowledge of dental instruments.
• Maintain inventory control in operatories.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Handle scheduling, follow-ups, and patient record keeping.
