Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Dental Assistant who shares our passion for patient care and a welcoming environment. Provide chair-side support, take and process X-rays, educate patients, and help maintain a clean, efficient operatory.

You will work with Dentrix and Microsoft Office, coordinating with Dentists and Hygienists; certification is required; benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans. This is a full-time, on-site role in Indiana with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program and state-board certification.
• Radiology certification required for State Dental Board compliance.
• Experience in dental assisting preferred.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and dental software; Dentrix preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to create a great environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support, charting, education, operatory setup and cleanup.
• Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of the appointment.
• Take and process X-Rays.
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories.
• Educate patients on oral health and maintenance.
