Job summary

Pearland Dentists is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists in delivering high-quality patient care in Pearland, TX. You will assist with exam procedures, take x-rays and intra-oral photos, and help educate patients about oral health.

The role emphasizes infection control, OSHA/ADA/HIPAA compliance, and a commitment to a positive patient experience. Prior dental assisting certification or education is preferred, with opportunities to advance within the team.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and mandated state and local certification/licensure requirements.
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state.
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best treatment.
• Take and process x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Maintain sterile environment and comply with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, DOL and other regulations.
• Prepare patients for treatment and educate them on postoperative and oral health care.
