Job summary

ProSmile is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinical teams in our Operations locations. You will work under dentists and with dental hygienists to assist chairside, manage instruments, recordkeeping, and scheduling.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, relevant licensing (DRT) or willingness to obtain it, and 1+ year of experience. Evening/weekend flexibility and OSHA/HIPAA/CDC compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Active licensing: Dental Radiologic Technologist (DRT) license or willingness to pursue licensure immediately required.
• Radiation Health and Safety certificate.
• Certified Dental Assistant certificate preferred.
• 1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Requires some flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside and demonstrate knowledge of dental instruments.
• Maintain inventory control in operatories where treatment is rendered.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Deliver world-class patient interactions related to scheduling and follow-up.
• Perform basic lab procedures such as take impressions and pour models.
• Handle miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
