Job summary

University Physicians' Association, Inc. (UPA) in Knoxville is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to work three days a week (Mon, Wed, Thu) at the Kim Health Center. You will team with a DDS to provide chair-side support, prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage basic dental admin tasks.

Experience with dental care and HIPAA compliance is required, with two years of relevant practice. Open Dental experience is a plus, and bilingual Spanish is welcome.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant dental assisting experience.
• Licensed and/or certified to perform duties.
• Open Dental experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, ensure equipment readiness.
• Provide chair-side assistance to the dentist.
• Take and process X-rays of patients.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Maintain dental records and patient data.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene.
