Job summary

UDA is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our patient care team. In this role you will prepare operatories, assist dentists during procedures, and help educate patients on oral health.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• Six months on-the-job experience (with supporting documentation).
• Dental Assistant certification and X-Ray certification required.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatories for patients and assist during treatment.
• Run sterilization and manage supplies daily.
• Support patient education on oral healthcare goals.
• Maintain thorough patient records and assist administratively with scheduling.

Education

One-year certified dental assistant program

Six months on-the-job experience

Dental Assistant certification

X-Ray certification
