Job summary

Jackson Pediatric Dentistry in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our pediatric-focused team. You will provide chairside support, take and develop X-rays, and ensure stringent infection control while keeping patients comfortable.

The role requires 1+ year of experience, X-ray certification, and a valid X-ray license. We offer a Monday-Thursday 8-5:30 schedule, Fridays 8-4, and competitive pay of $19-$25 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• X-ray / Radiography Certification required.
• 1+ year of dental assisting experience.
• Valid X-Ray License required.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during various procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays; license required.
• Ensure sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Prepare patients and maintain comfort during treatment.
• Record patient medical history and treatments accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked operatory.
• Support team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Pay

• $19 - $25 per hour

$19-$25 per hour (based on experience)

Shift & Schedule

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Requirements

• License & Certification: X-ray / Radiography Certification
• Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 1+ years of practice
• At least 1 year of chairside assisting experience (Required)
• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience (Required)
• Valid X-Ray License (Required)
