Job summary

JACKSON PEDIATRIC Dentistry in Jackson, NJ is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant for a full-time, Monday–Friday role. You will provide chairside support to the dentist, take X-rays, and help maintain infection control, patient comfort, and a well-organized operatory.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, valid X-ray certification, and a team-oriented attitude to ensure excellent patient care. Benefits are offered with a stable, growth-oriented practice.

Qualifications

• X-ray/Radiography Certification required.
• 1+ years of dental assistant experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of chairside assisting experience required.
• Valid X-Ray License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.

Pay

• $19 - $25 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Requirements

• License & Certification: X-ray / Radiography Certification
• Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 1+ years of practice
• At least 1 year of chairside assisting experience (Required)
• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience (Required)
• Valid X-Ray License (Required)

Job Description

• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
• Take and develop dental X-rays (X-ray license required)
• Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and maintenance of infection control protocols
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout procedures
• Record patient medical history and treatment information accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked operatory
