Job summary

Myorthodontist is seeking an orthodontic assistant to support patient care and the orthodontic team. You will greet patients, take radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos, and help prepare and sterilize the treatment room.

The role requires an active dental assistant license/registration, at least 6 months of orthodontic experience, and proficiency with bands, brackets, arch wires, and impressions. Strong communication and organization are essential for team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state.
• 6+ months of experience as an orthodontic assistant.
• Completion of a CODA accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
• Proficiency fitting bands and brackets, tying arch wires, and taking impressions.
• Punctual, professional, and a strong team player.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
