Job summary

Salt Dental Partners seeks a skilled orthodontic assistant to enhance the patient experience through teamwork and precise care. You will greet patients, assist with imaging and impressions, and help prepare the treatment area for efficient visits.

You will support the orthodontist in assessing patients and executing treatment plans, handling routine orthodontic duties, and maintaining organized patient records for accurate charting and care continuity.

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state.
• 6+ months of experience as an orthodontic assistant.
• CODA-accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
• Proficiency fitting bands and brackets, tying arch wires, and taking impressions.
• Punctual, professional, and a strong team player.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
