Job summary

Zufall Health is hiring a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and dental hygienist in providing primary dental care to patients. You will handle operatory setup, radiographs, sterilization, and inventory while ensuring compliance with infection control policies.

You will assist with patient care, maintain records, and coordinate between sites as needed, contributing to efficient clinic operations and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental assisting techniques for all phases of general dentistry.
• English and Spanish fluency required; strong communication with patients.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of radiography procedures and NJ radiology requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serves as chair-side assistant to dentist and hygienist.
• Prepares operatory per protocols and directions.
• Exposes and develops dental radiographs per state and policy.
• Maintains inventory and sterilization of instruments and supplies.
• Ensures infection control and safety across the department.
• Maintains patient records and coordinates patient flow.
• Travels between sites as needed to meet center needs.
