Zufall Health Center Inc. seeks a Dental Assistant to support dentists and hygienists in providing primary dental care. You will prepare operatories, assist patients, and handle radiographs in compliance with NJ regulations and ZHC protocols.

Responsibilities include maintaining infection control, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate patient records. Fluency in English and Spanish, CPR, and a NJ radiology license are required; travel between sites may be necessary.

Qualifications

Requires comprehensive knowledge of dental assisting techniques for all phases of general dentistry.
Knowledge of modern dental materials, storage, handling and applications is required.
Completion of accredited dental assisting course preferred.
Able to attend to multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

Serves as chair-side assistant to dentist and hygienist.
Prepares operatory per protocols and directions.
Assists patients and provides directions as needed.
Exposes and develops dental radiographs in accordance with state law and protocols.
Maintains equipment and infection control standards in line with policy.
Keeps dental department materials and inventory accurate and stocked.
Maintains patient records and documents accurately.
Performs other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
