Job summary

Affiliated Dental Support in Ocala, FL seeks a Dental Assistant who is energetic, motivated and a true team player. You will support the doctor, prepare rooms, assist patients, and help with sterilization and documentation.

The role requires a CDA, active CPR and availability Monday through Friday. Bonus for oral surgery experience and computer proficiency; competitive wages and benefits are offered to develop your career.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential required.
• Active CPR certification.
• Available Monday-Friday during practice hours.
• Experience in oral surgery and computer proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Welcome, comfort, and assist patients throughout their visit.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts; fabricate temporary restorations.
• Educate patients by answering questions and providing clear instructions.
• Clean and polish removable appliances.
• Anticipate the doctor's needs during procedures (set-ups, suction, passing instruments).
• Document dental care services accurately in patient records.
• Capture high-quality intraoral photographs.
• Maintain OSHA compliance through proper sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
