Job summary

The Dental Center of Granger is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the clinical team in Granger, IN. You will prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, take X-rays, educate patients on oral hygiene, and maintain accurate records in a team-based setting.

Qualifications

• One year on-the-job experience in dental assisting.
• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant is preferred.
• X-Ray certification is required and Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, assist dentists.
• Patient Care: Welcome, educate, and comfort patients on oral hygiene.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow infection control and privacy regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain patient records and scheduling.
• Emergency readiness: Support CPR and manage emergency supplies.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
