Job summary

The Dental Center of Granger is seeking a Dental Assistant in Granger, IN to support our clinical team with patient care and treatment preparation in a busy, team-based practice.

We offer competitive hourly pay from $16.00 to $25.00, full-time hours Monday through Thursday 8am–5pm and Friday 8am–2pm, plus health, dental and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, a 401(k) plan and ongoing education in a modern office.

Qualifications

• One year on-the-job experience with supporting documentation.
• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant preferred.
• X-Ray certification.
• Nitrous Oxide certification highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, CPR and infection control training annually.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
