Job summary

White Tanks Dental Care is part of Heartland Dental and is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a collaborative team in Surprise, AZ. The role focuses on patient comfort, accurate health history reviews, and efficient chairside support with modern technology.

You will work with Dentrix for scheduling and maintain strict safety protocols, while supporting ongoing education and growth within a stable, nationwide organization.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• AZ dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state act.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and protection of PHI as required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure high-quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures with four-handed dentistry.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room following OSHA & CDC safety guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
