The ideal candidate will have a one-year certified dental assistant program, X-ray certification, Expanded Functions certification, and a commitment to OSHA and HIPAA training.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification required.
• X-ray certification required; CPR/OSHA training adherence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments, assisting dentists during procedures.
• Welcoming and educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Maintain infection control, patient confidentiality, and comply with regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records, scheduling, and intake as needed.
