Job summary

Lakeshore Family Dentistry in Fox Point, WI is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the clinical team. You’ll prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures in a fast-paced, patient-focused practice.

In addition to taking and developing X-rays, you will educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, while upholding infection control protocols and patient confidentiality. CPR readiness and emergencies support are part of the role.

Qualifications

• One year of dental assisting experience with documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to maintain OSHA/HIPAA training.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
• Assist with dental and medical emergencies by preparing CPR-ready equipment and maintaining emergency contacts.
