The ideal candidate has an Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer Certificate (or is pursuing it), 1–2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with Dentrix/Open Dental/Eaglesoft.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer Certificate or willingness to obtain immediately.
• 1–2 years of hands-on dental assisting experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume Medicaid or corporate dental settings is a plus.
• Comfortable working on your feet and handling a steady patient flow.
• Familiarity with dental practice management software and imaging sensors.
• Active BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Chairside Assistance: four-handed dentistry for general procedures (restorations, extractions, root canals, crown/bridge).
• Prosthodontics & Dentures: assist with denture impressions, model pouring, bite rims, relines.
• Radiography & Imaging: capture digital X-rays compliant with Ohio laws and ALARA.
• Medicaid & Cash Workflow Documentation: detailed charting for Medicaid and explaining treatment costs to cash-pay patients.
• Sterilization & Compliance: maintain infection control per OSHA, CDC, and Ohio State Dental Board; restock operatory rooms.
