Job summary

Franklin Dental Care & Dentures is seeking a Dental Scheduling Coordinator to own the daily calendar in a fast-paced on-site setting in Franklin, OH. The role requires real Dentrix scheduling experience and direct Medicaid scheduling experience to manage eligibility, no-shows, and cancellations.

You will schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments across phone, email, and text, and work closely with providers and front desk staff to keep the day on track and fully booked.

Qualifications

• Dentrix scheduling experience is required and must be demonstrated.
• Direct Medicaid scheduling experience is required, including eligibility and managing a Medicaid caseload.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily and weekly patient schedule in Dentrix to minimize gaps and overbooking.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments by phone, email, and text with real-time accuracy.
• Track recall and follow-up lists and use ASAP lists/waitlists to keep the schedule full.
• Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to keep the day realistic and on track.
• Verify Medicaid eligibility and manage Medicaid scheduling needs to reduce no-shows and cancellations.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and double-bookings before they impact patient care.
