Job summary

Spring Dental Cleveland is seeking a Dental Assistant to work closely with doctors to provide high-quality chairside care. Responsibilities include taking X-rays, recording patient treatment information, and maintaining accurate medical/dental histories.

The role involves dental cleaning, fluoride application, impression fabrication, and patient education on oral hygiene. Opportunity for growth and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Chairside care with doctors and patients
• Ability to take and record medical/dental histories and vital signs
• Experience with dental cleaning and polishing techniques
• Familiarity with dental imaging (X-ray)

Responsibilities

• Expose dental diagnostic X-Ray.
• Record treatment information in patient records
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
• Clean teeth, using dental instruments including cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
• Apply a protective coating of fluoride to teeth.
• Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
