Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dental team. The ideal candidate must be dependable and have a genuine passion for working with children and their families. This role is vital in creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe and comfortable during their dental visits.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
2. Build rapport with young patients and their families to foster a positive dental experience.
3. Educate parents and children about oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
4. Utilize behavior modification techniques to help manage children's anxiety and ensure cooperative behavior during procedures.
5. General patient charting and documentation.
6. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Dental Assistant (DA) Course certification.
2. CPR Certification.
3. Infection Control Certification.
4. Radiology X-ray Certification.
5. Coronal Polish Certification.
6. Experience in a pediatric dental setting is preferred but not required.
7. Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine love for working with children.
