Job summary

Brea Modern Dentistry is seeking an entry-level dental assistant to learn and perform basic duties under the supervision of a licensed dentist. You will gain hands-on experience in a supportive team environment and help deliver the Perfect Patient Experience.

No prior dental experience is required, but customer service skills are valued. You will assist with infection control, radiographs, tray preparation, and patient care while ensuring compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and dental board rules.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic dental assisting duties under the dentist's supervision.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by focusing on patient needs.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Assist with radiographs and intra-oral photos as directed after safety training.
• Prepare for patient care and provide chairside support.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Record patient charting and treatment notes in the digital chart.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and HR policies.
