Job summary

Brea Modern Dentistry in California is seeking an entry-level Dental Assistant. You will learn and perform basic dental assisting duties under direct supervision of a licensed dentist, while contributing to the Perfect Patient Experience and maintaining infection control standards.

No prior dental experience is required, and customer service experience is preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, CE units, and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic dental assisting under supervision.
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on patient care.
• Learn infection control procedures for sterilization and operatory cleaning.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures after radiation safety requirements.
• Prepare for patient care procedures and provide chairside support; hand off to front desk for follow-up.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed by the dentist.
• Record patient charting and treatment notes in the digital chart as directed.
• Support patient care by presenting treatment records to the dentist prior to treatment.
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.).
